Latiproetus bilobus

Taxonomy
Prantlia biloba was named by Kobayashi and Hamada (1974). Its type specimen is OCU PA0006, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Loc. 2. Okanaru, Higashi-uwa-gun, which is in a Pridoli marine sandstone in the Joryu Formation of Japan.

It was recombined as Latiproetus biloba by Kobayashi (1985); it was recombined as Latiproetus bilobus by Stocker et al. (2019).
