Taxonomy
Interproetus mizobuchii was named by Stocker et al. (2019). Its type specimen is SGM1301, a cephalon/head, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Loc. 3. Ys 15. Gomi Quarry, which is in a Ludlow reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Fukata Formation of Japan.
