Taxonomy
Cuticulatopteris polymorpha was named by Pant and Misra (1983). It is not extant. Its type locality is Raniganj, which is in a Wordian/Lopingian fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Raniganj Formation of India. It is the type species of Cuticulatopteris.
