Capassopiscis pankowskii
Taxonomy
Capassopiscis pankowskii was named by Taverne (2022). Its type specimen is IRSNB P 10.272, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Haqel (IRSNB collection), which is in a Cenomanian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal carbonate in Lebanon. It is the type species of Capassopiscis.
