Taxonomy
Dechenella delsternensis was named by Basse (1996). Its type specimen is 967-86b-4, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hohenlimburg II-68a-. Aufgelassener Steinbruch an der Straße Am Berghang, which is in a Givetian marine slate in the Oege Formation of Germany.
