Taxonomy
Schizoproetus lemkei was named by Basse (1997) [Schizoproetus? lemkei]. Its type specimen is ST-CS-1+a, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Schalker Teich-Profil. Clausthal-Zellerfeldd, which is in an Eifelian carbonate slate/limestone in the Goslar Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Lauchellum lemkei by Basse (2002).
