Brachymetopus woodwardii

Taxonomy
Brachymetopus woodwardii was named by Whidborne (1896). Its type specimen is SM H418, a cephalon/head, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lane between Heanton Punchardon and Wrafton, which is in a Hastarian offshore shale/limestone in the Pilton Shales Formation of the United Kingdom.

It was recombined as Brachymetopus maccoyi woodwardii by Hahn (1964).
