Taxonomy
Dadocrinus montellonis was named by Saucède et al. (2023). Its type specimen is UBGD 292410, a calyx, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Montello Canyon, which is in a Spathian carbonate shale in the Thaynes Formation of Nevada.
