Taxonomy
Glyphea pisuergae was named by Charbonnier et al. (2023). Its type specimen is MCNA 17091, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is East of Salinas de Pisuerga, which is in a Pliensbachian/Toarcian offshore ramp marl in Spain.
