Deperetomys dingusi
Taxonomy
Deperetomys dingusi was named by Martin et al. (2023). Its type specimen is UCMP 316883, a mandible (partial left mandible with I, m1–m3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shitike Creek (RV-7717), which is in an Arikareean terrestrial sandstone in the John Day Formation of Oregon.
