Taxonomy
Nileus holoubkovensis was named by Ruzicka (1926). Its type specimen is NM L 18903 (lectotype), a pygidium, and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Pseudonileus holoubkovensis by Kobayashi (1951); it was recombined as Hemibarrandia holoubkovensis by Prantl and Pribyl (1949), Pribyl (1953), Mergl (2006).
