Taxonomy
Ptilophyllum rewaensis was named by Sukh-Dev and Zeba-Bano (1977). It is not extant. Its type locality is Marwar Ghat, 0.75km NE of Bansa, which is in a Cretaceous fluvial horizon in the Jabalpur Formation of India.
