---|---|---|
D. K. Elliott 2016 | Medium-sized cyathaspid with no epitega; flattened, oval to quadrangular dorsal shield and convex ventral shield. Narrow, downwardly directed lateral laminae are separated from the rest of the dorsal shield by narrow lateral brims that are serrated posteriorly in some species. No median rostral process. Ornament of very fine (8–10 per mm), flat-topped ridges; generally longitudinal on dorsal shield, but forming whorls laterally against a lateral band of coarser ridges (6–7 per mm). Single median oral plate is keystone shaped. |
