Quetzalcoatlus lawsoni
Taxonomy
Quetzalcoatlus lawsoni was named by Andres and Langston (2021). Its type specimen is TMM 41961-1, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pterodactyl Ridge, Amaral site, which is in a Maastrichtian fluvial siltstone/claystone in the Javelina Formation of Texas.
