Hypohippus osborni

Taxonomy
Hypohippus osborni was named by Gidley (1907). Its type specimen is AMNH 9407, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pawnee Buttes (Upper Beds), which is in a Miocene terrestrial horizon in Colorado.

It was recombined as Anchitherium osborni by Simpson (1932).
