Nymphatelina was named by Siveter et al. (2007). It is not extant. Its type is Nymphatelina gravida. It is the type genus of Nymphatelinoidea, Nymphatelinidae.
It was assigned to Nymphatelinidae by Siveter et al. (2007); and to Myodocopida by Hegna et al. (2020).
