Taxonomy
Corysodon multicristatus was named by Batchelor and Duffin (2023). Its type specimen is NHMUK PV P 76391, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Atherfield Point, bed 19, which is in an Aptian coastal siliciclastic in the Atherfield Clay Formation of the United Kingdom.
