Kokopellia juddi
Taxonomy
Kokopellia juddi was named by Cifelli (1993). Its type specimen is OMNH 26361, a mandible (left lower jaw lacking most of the ascending ramus with several incisor alveoli, alveoli of C and P1, and P2-M4 complete), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is OMNH V695, Mussentuchit, which is in a Cenomanian floodplain sandstone in the Cedar Mountain Formation of Utah. It is the type species of Kokopellia.
