Taxonomy
Carduispongia pedicula was named by Nadhira et al. (2019). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Herefordshire Konservat-Lagerstätte, which is in a Wenlock basinal (carbonate) carbonate/volcaniclastic in the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Carduispongia.
