Vucetichimys pretrilophodontia
Taxonomy
Vucetichimys pretrilophodontia was named by Arnal et al. (2022) [zoobank.org:act: 0DDC605C-C97B-4CB1-B039FC63CB2FE55E]. Its type specimen is CPI-9992, a set of teeth (right M1 or M2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Santa Rosa (LACM Loc. 6289), which is in a Rupelian terrestrial mudstone/sandstone in the Yahuarango Formation of Peru. It is the type species of Vucetichimys.
