Taxonomy
Enoploceras rieberi was named by Pieroni (2022). Its type specimen is PIMUZ 37902, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Point 902, Monte San Giorgio, Bed 73, which is in an Illyrian marine dolomite in the Besano Formation of Switzerland.
