Litaletes gazinensis
Taxonomy
Litaletes gazinensis was named by Robison (1986) [originally described as L. "gazinensis"; name emended by Cifelli et al. 1999c]. Its type specimen is BYU 3773, a maxilla (right maxilla fragment with the posterior half of M1 and M2-3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dairy Creek, which is in a Puercan terrestrial horizon in the North Horn Formation of Utah.
