Derivation of name. Gr. epaqks, lovely, charming. An apt name for such a species.
Taxonomy
Paramunseyella epaphroditus was named by Ceolin et al. (2015). Its type specimen is LM-FCEN 3427, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cerro Azul CA 3, which is in a Maastrichtian marine siltstone in the Jagüel Formation of Argentina.
