Mimicocythereis
LSID. urn:lsid:zoobank.org:act:CDEAC622-48D8-445C-8075-1F890F5A26EC
Derivation of name. From L. mimicus (via. Gr. llko mimikos), separate from. With reference to the fact that although species belonging to this genus have been described as Bradleya Hornibrook, they were simply masquerading as that genus in that they differ fundamentally in a number of characters, especially in the CMS and belong to different families.
It was assigned to Trachyleberididae by Ceolin et al. (2024).
