Taxonomy
Ilyocypris zampalensis was named by Angellozzi (1980). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Neuquenocypris zampalensis by Musacchio (1989); it was recombined as Neuquenocypris (Alleniella) zampalensis by Musacchio and Simeoni (1991).
