E. A. Musacchio 1973 | Carapace strongly dimorphic and strongly inequivalve. Contour in lateral view subreniform: ventral edge faintly concave in the middle anterior part.
Hinge in left valve with 2 pits (the anterior one is longer), crenulated; relatively short middle bar, inclined a little backwards, thin, little protruding and crenulated at least in the upper part, place where an accommodation groove is suggested. Right valve with outstanding elements, middle element consisting of a weak groove. Lamela internal with vestibule. |
