Taxonomy
Eoverruca barringtonensis was named by Gale and Vidovic (2023). Its type specimen is NHMUK PI In 64882, an other (moveable tergum), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Barrington (Neostlingoceras carcitanense subzone), which is in a Cenomanian marine siliciclastic in the West Melbury Formation of the United Kingdom.
