Taxonomy
Eoredonia orientalis was named by Sánchez (2008). Its type specimen is CEGH-UNC 20565 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Abra de Santa Laura F-1, Sierra de Mojotoro, Floresta Formation, Jujuy, which is in a Tremadoc coastal siltstone in the Floresta Formation of Argentina.
