Plicatomorpha plicata
Taxonomy
Plicatomorpha plicata was named by Krasilova (1979). Its type specimen is ГИН АН СССР, № 3822/54, and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Morkoka River, 3.2 km below the Delingde river, which is in a Katian/Hirnantian marine marl/siltstone in the Oyusut Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Plicatomorpha.
