Taxonomy
Pterygotus dicki was named by Peach (1883) [C. (?) dicki (Peach 1883), known from disarticulated metasomal segments with an ornament similar to other Cyrtoctenus species (but it may be a Hibbertopterus),]. It is not extant.

It was recombined as Cyrtoctenus dicki by Peach (1883), Braddy et al. (2023).
