Postcopemys maxumensis
Taxonomy
Postcopemys maxumensis was named by Lindsay and Czaplewski (2011). Its type specimen is UCMP 87890, a tooth (left m/1), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP V-6869, Maxum, which is in a Blancan terrestrial horizon in the Tassajara Formation of California.
