Vultur messii
Taxonomy
Vultur messii was named by Degrange et al. (2023). Its type specimen is MCH 363, a limb element (right femur), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is San Fernando Norte (40 m above tuff bed), which is in a Zanclean alluvial fan mudstone in the Andalhuala Formation of Argentina.
