Taxonomy
Rogueus belgodereae was named by van Bakel et al. (2023). Its type specimen is MNHN.F.A88045, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lafarge quarry, Boussens, which is in a Thanetian offshore lime mudstone in France.
