Cavellina pulchella was named by Coryell (1928).

Synonyms

Cytherella missouriensis was named by Knight (1928). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Knight's locality #38, which is in a Desmoinesian offshore shale in the Henrietta Formation of Missouri.

It was synonymized subjectively with Cavellina pulchella by Kellett (1935).
