Taxonomy
Leptosocyathus solidus was named by Konjushkov and Zhuravleva (1967). Its type specimen is IGiG no. 325 and is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Chakassicyathus solidus by Zhuravleva and Elkina (1974).
