Taxonomy
Dolichometopsis resseri was named by Poulsen (1927). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cape Kent, which is in a Waucoban marine horizon in the Cape Kent Formation of Greenland. It is the type species of Dolichometopsis.
