It was recombined as Eodon bellistriatus by Miller (1877); it was recombined as Microdonella bellistriata by Oehlert (1881); it was recombined as Cypricardella bellistriatus by Hall (1884); it was recombined as Cypricardella bellastriata by McAlester (1962); it was recombined as Eodon bellastriatus by Cox et al. (1969), Nevesskaja et al. (2013).
