Cypricardinia ulrichi
Taxonomy
Rhombopteria (Newsomella) ulrichi was named by Foerste (1909). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Abandoned quarry near Newsom Station, which is in a Wenlock deep subtidal ramp wackestone/packstone in the Wayne Formation of Tennessee.
It was recombined as Newsomella ulrichi by Pojeta and Norford (1987); it was recombined as Cypricardinia ulrichi by Johnston (1993).
