Taxonomy
Arceodomus fredericksi was named by Mazaev (2023). Its type specimen is 5538/10-441 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shakhtau open pit, sample 10, which is in a Sakmarian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Shakhtau Reef Formation of the Russian Federation.
