Jingiella
The new mamenchisaurid genus name Jingia, published in Historical Biology (The first mamenchisaurid from the Upper Jurassic Dongxing Formation of Guangxi, southernmost China, DOI: 10.1080/08912963.2024.2309287), is pre-occupied by Jingia Chen, 1983, a lepidopteran insect. The new replacement name Jingiella dongxingensis gen. et sp. nov., is proposed for Jingia dongxingensis Ren et al., 2024.
It was assigned to Mamenchisauridae by Ren et al. (2024).
