Briscoia pertransversa
Taxonomy
Briscoia pertransversa was named by Lochman (1956). Its type specimen is PUM 78446, a pygidium, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 1.5 miles SSE of main railroad crossing, North Freedom, which is in a Sunwaptan marine sandstone in the Franconia Formation of Wisconsin.
