Archaeopus lunicarinus

Taxonomy
Archaeopus lunicarina was named by Schweitzer and Feldmann (2001). Its type specimen is UAM-2574a and b and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is South side of Syncline Mountain, which is in a Cenomanian/Maastrichtian marine mudstone in the Matanuska Formation of Alaska.

It was corrected as Archaeopus lunicarinus by Schweitzer et al. (2010).
