Diagnosis
Reference | Diagnosis | |
---|---|---|
H. Kozur and H. Mostler 1978 (Euchitoniidae) | From a partly tiny and externally not always visible central disc, 2-6 sometimes split arms radiate out, some of which are terminally studded with spines. A patagium can be formed between the arms. At least the central disk, but mostly also the arms, are chambered concentrically or interrupted concentrically (arms), with a simple central chamber in the center of the central disk. At least the central area of the skeletons, but mostly the whole skeleton including the patagium, are covered with porous sieve plates. |
