Microsus cuspidatus

Taxonomy
Microsus cuspidatus was named by Leidy (1870) [genotype]. Its type specimen is USNM 1178, a set of teeth (lower molars), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Black's Fork, which is in a Bridgerian terrestrial horizon in the Bridger Formation of Wyoming.

It was recombined as Hyopsodus cuspidatus by Osborn (1902).
