Ceoptera evansae
Taxonomy
Ceoptera evansae was named by Martin-Silverstone et al. (2023). It is not extant. Its type specimen is NHMUK PV R37110, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is UB 7111, Cladach a'Ghlinne, which is in a Bathonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal marl in the Kilmaluag Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Ceoptera.
