Taxonomy
Pseudomicippe granulosa was named by Pelseneer (1886). It is a 3D body fossil. It is the type species of Pseudomicippe, Pseudomicippella.

It was synonymized subjectively with Paranecrocarcinus quadriscissus by Jagt et al. (2010); it was recombined as Pseudomicippella granulosa by Schweitzer et al. (2011), Schweitzer and Feldmann (2023).
