Holkopollenites forix
Taxonomy
Holkopollenites forix was named by Christopher and Prowell (2010). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Slide RIC-543@299.0’ (1); coordinates 14.9 x 145.6; Fig. 12G–K, a microspore, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS - Eastover-Webber School core, 299.0 ft, which is in a Campanian marine horizon in the Coachman Formation of South Carolina.
