Miocyon magnus

Taxonomy
Miocyon magnus was named by Bryant (1992). Its type specimen is SMNH P1900.1, a tooth (right [lower] M2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lac Pelletier Lower Fauna, which is in a Duchesnean terrestrial horizon in the Cypress Hills Formation of Canada.
