Mioheteromys arcarius

Taxonomy
Diprionomys arcarius was named by Korth (1996) [referred to this genus only because Mioheteromys was not yet named]. Its type locality is South Bijou Hill, which is in a Barstovian terrestrial claystone in the Fort Randall Formation of South Dakota.

It was recombined as Mioheteromys arcarius by Korth (1997).
