Nyctitherium nitidum

Taxonomy
Talpavus nitidus was named by Marsh (1872). Its type specimen is YPM 13511, a mandible (fragment of left jaw with M2 and talonid of M1), and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Nyctitherium nitidus by Matthew (1909); it was recombined as Nyctitherium nitidum by Hay (1930).
